They denounce the "lamentable" state of a "reference" street in Puerto del Carmen, without sidewalks and without light

The PP will defend a motion in the next Plenary Session demanding its arrangement from the government group, among other things due to the "risk" it poses to users

State of Reina Sofía street in Puerto del Carmen

The Popular Party Group in the Tías City Council has presented a motion to the municipal plenary session urging the government to proceed with the arrangement of the sidewalk on a section of Reina Sofía street, one of the main arteries of Puerto del Carmen, whose condition they denounce as "lamentable."

For the popular party, "there is no possible excuse that justifies the situation in which such a central and reference area" within the tourist center is located. “Every day we see residents and tourists passing through that point with the risk and danger that it has due to the poor condition of the ground and the total absence of protection fences,” denounces the councilor and president of the PP of Tías, Francisco Aparicio.

The popular party accompanies its proposal with several images in which the current state of the sidewalk can be clearly seen, "which is practically impossible to walk on at night because it does not even have light."

“The important thing is that the local government should not leave on this matter and act as soon as possible to prevent any citizen from having an accident that they may later have to regret,” explains Francisco Aparicio, who trusts that the tripartite PSOE, Lava and Podemos "do not pass the roller to this initiative and can go ahead in the next plenary session."
