On Saturday, December 10, the walls of the Youth Center with messages such as "No cause justifies the abuse of Human Rights". Works carried out by young people from the capital, on the occasion of the graffiti contest for the International Day of Human Rights, organized by Juventud Arrecife and the Hécate Sociocultural Association.
The work signed by Kant and Aron won the first prize valued at 250 euros, while the 200 euros of the second prize went to Casi. The Councilor for Youth of the Arrecife City Council, Jacobo Lemes, has positively valued the activity, underlining that "events like these seek to involve our young people in issues of great importance and relevance to our society".
"With their artistic creations, meticulously elaborated, all the participants have contributed to the promotion and protection of human rights, so I congratulate each and every one of them. Together we can build and consolidate a respectful culture", the mayor underlined.
