The Integral Water Service of Lanzarote and La Graciosa has begun the removal of the identifying elements of the company Canal Gestión, the former concessionaire, in various facilities linked to the integral water cycle of both islands.

The first works have been carried out at the Díaz Rijo Desalination Center and in the main administrative departments of the service, where the existing corporate logos have been removed as part of the process of updating the service's identifying image.

In parallel, work is underway on the development of a new own visual identity that will allow for the homogeneous identification of the different resources and infrastructures linked to the integral water cycle in Lanzarote and La Graciosa. This new image will be presented and progressively implemented over the coming weeks.

The Water Councilor, Domingo Cejas, pointed out that "we are proceeding to remove the previous image while we advance in the creation of a new corporate identity that will identify the service in this new stage."

Until this process concludes, some operational elements such as part of the vehicle fleet or staff uniforms will temporarily maintain the previous image, guaranteeing the normal provision of the service at all times.

The removal of the first identifying elements occurred after the assembly convened by the Works Committee held during the morning with the workers, in which a message of tranquility and confidence was conveyed in the work being carried out by the professionals who make up the integral water cycle.

“The workers have demonstrated from the first moment their commitment to the service and to the citizens of Lanzarote and La Graciosa,” highlighted Domingo Cejas, who was present at the workers' assembly, along with the president of the Cabildo, Oswaldo Betancort, the insular director of Human Resources of the Cabildo, and the manager of the Water Consortium.
