The Town Hall of Tías, in coordination with the General Directorate of Cadastre, has launched field work to update the street map, cartography and photography of the municipality.

The work consists of reviewing and updating the numbering of homes on each street, as well as taking images of the facades in order to have an updated and rigorous database.

At the moment, the technical teams are developing these tasks in the nucleus of La Asomada, and will continue later in the rest of the localities of the municipality.

The councilor of the area, Tomás Silvera, explains that "this update was very necessary, since it will improve the identification of homes, facilitate administrative procedures and offer a more accurate digital street map for both citizens and the various public services."

Silvera also emphasizes that "having updated data is essential for urban planning, security and the improvement of basic services such as postal delivery, emergencies or supply management."

The Town Hall of Tías thanks in advance the good disposition of the citizens.
