The Tías City Council has incorporated ten career civil servants into its municipal staff this Wednesday, occupying positions as administrative and administrative assistants. This is a historic event in the council, as it is the first time that a simultaneous incorporation of this number of career civil servants has occurred.
These new incorporations are the result of the selective processes convened in 2024, in which six administrative assistant positions and four administrative positions were offered with the aim of strengthening municipal services and improving citizen service.
The Councilor for Human Resources, Tomás Silvera, highlighted the importance of this milestone for the Tías City Council. "We are taking an important step in the professionalization and stability of the municipal staff. This is a historic advance resulting from the work carried out by the government group and the workers of the Human Resources department to strengthen public services," he said.
Silvera added that "with these incorporations we respond to a real need of the municipality and its residents, who deserve an agile, close and efficient administration. We will continue working to continue incorporating career civil servant personnel through transparent and guaranteeing selective processes."
For his part, the mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, expressed his satisfaction with the completion of these selective processes and the taking of office of the new civil servants. "It is an important day for the Tías City Council. We thus reflect our commitment to improving local administration and providing quality public services," he said.
