After months of negotiations, on the morning of Wednesday, April 4, the Labor Relations Agreement (RPT) affecting the workers was signed in the Spínola Palace of the Villa and therefore the organization chart of the Corporation chaired by Juan Pedro Hernández. The first mayor and the representatives of the trade union organizations and the workers sign this decisive document in the future salary improvements of the labor and functional workers of the administration.
This new organization chart, plans the functions and establishes the ratios of economic perceptions of the 270 employees of the council. The RPT will come into effect once it is ratified in the next plenary session in May. Regarding the economic improvements that affect the different jobs, the application of this new valuation will be done gradually and will culminate within three years, then assuming a municipal expense of 600,000 euros.
For the Councilor for Finance, Luciano Pérez, this agreement means taking an important step towards the specification of professional tasks in the City Council, as well as the exhaustive ordering of all internal promotion processes and creation of future new positions. The signing puts an end to a two-year negotiation process.
