The Staff Board of the Lanzarote Health Area has published a press release this Friday in which it collects "the continuous complaints of the staff" and accuses the Management of the Health Service of the island of giving an "insufficient and inadequate" response.
Thus, on behalf of the professionals who make up the human team of the institution, it has publicly expressed "its deep concern" regarding staff complaints about issues that "seriously affect their work and well-being".
The Electoral Board has added that "for some time, we have tried to transmit our concerns in a formal and constructive manner to the Management of the Lanzarote Health Service, but we have received an insufficient and inadequate response to the problems raised".
In this line, it has indicated that "this lack of response and action not only reflects a worrying neglect of the needs of the workers, but also puts at risk the quality of the service offered to the citizens of the island".
In addition, the Staff Board has demanded that "action be taken quickly to solve these problems and, above all, that respect and consideration be guaranteed towards the professionals who, day after day, dedicate themselves to offering the best healthcare to the population of Lanzarote".
To conclude, they have stated that "in case of not receiving a satisfactory response in the shortest possible time", they will be "forced to study other courses of action to defend the rights of the workers and guarantee the quality of the services provided".
