The candidate for Mayor for the Socialist Party, Begoña Hernández, presented her candidacy this Thursday at the Mancha Blanca socio-cultural center, where she spoke "of the necessary trust of the neighbors to achieve the Tinajo we want, an excited town, of well-being and progress". "Tinajo deserves a change, it is necessary to work for the people and leave aside the easy propaganda", she said.

The socialist took advantage of her first act to advance part of her proposals. One of her challenges, she explained, is to "allow young people to fully develop their social, intellectual, artistic and sports capacities." "The Tinajo we want is a town committed to the primary sector, a town that guarantees a budget to reinforce social services, the scholarship policy, education, health, culture, sports, its historical heritage," she said.

In the act, in which she was supported by the candidates for the mayoralties of Teguise and Tías, Marcos Bergaz and José Juan Cruz, among other colleagues, Hernández emphasized that "politics must be credible, without confusing propaganda with management. We have to talk about politics again without fear, without reprisals"
