The Security and Emergency Consortium of Lanzarote has incorporated eight new firefighters, as trainee civil servants, to reinforce the Fire Department's staff and thus cover the needs of the service at present.
The inauguration ceremony took place this Wednesday in the Plenary Hall of the Cabildo, and was attended by family and friends of the new firefighters, as well as the Councilor for Security and Emergencies, Francisco J. Aparicio, the Consortium Manager, Enrique Espinosa, the Sergeant, José Domingo Crespo and the on-duty firefighters from the Central Park.
From the Cabildo of Lanzarote, they point out that the eight officials who have taken office in the category of driver firefighter "have been part of the staff since 2017", assigned to the South Park Program as interim officials. These are Jesús Samuel Mateo Cabrera, Rubén Callero Brito, Francisco Perdomo Coll, Eduardo González de Chaves Assef, Dario Morales Brito and Néstor Cabrera Villalba. While the newly admitted firefighters are Isaac Llamas González and Miguel A. García Machín.
During the event, the Councilor for Security and Emergencies, Francisco J. Aparicio, thanked the Fire Department "for their commitment and professionalism" and expressed his satisfaction for the incorporation of these new personnel "who join the Consortium family". Aparicio wished them all "good luck in this new professional journey".
