The San Bartolomé City Council celebrates the great reception of the Aguapata 2024 Festivities, festivities that took place in the town of El Islote and that were full of fun, tradition and a great atmosphere in each of its events.
The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, thanked the population for "the participation and the good reception of each of the almost 30 events, activities and performances that took place during the almost two weeks that these 'traditional and inclusive' festivities lasted, as well as all the people, entities and groups that participated in the organization and that made the development of the same possible."
Similarly, the Councilor for Festivities, Estefanía Luzardo, conveyed her thanks to the public and highlighted "the civic behavior shown by the citizens during festivities created once again for the enjoyment of the population of all ages and conditions."
It is worth highlighting some of the most important events and events, such as the Aguapata Contest, the toasting and shearing of sheep, the various workshops organized, the musical performances, a theatrical performance, the traditional festival, a wrestling exhibition or the fireworks, among others.
