The residents of the Argana Alta neighborhood delivered a copy of the rainwater network expansion project on Thursday morning, which was drafted by the Government of the Canary Islands and which the president of the regional Executive presented to the residents of the Arrecife neighborhood during his visit to the island last Saturday.
The delivery of the document comes after Reguera assured this Wednesday that he did not have it and reproached Paulino Rivero for his attitude, for having presented the project to the neighbors "without the City Council being aware of it."
Now, with the delivery of the copy of the project, the residents of Argana Alta hope that the execution procedures will be accelerated, so that floods like the ones they suffered last January will not be repeated in the future.
"From the Neighborhood Association, we want to make it very clear to all political parties not to make our problem an electoral campaign, but to make an act of reflection with our problem for a quick solution," conclude the residents of the Arrecife neighborhood in the letter they have presented to the City Council.
