The PSOE would win the elections in the Canary Islands again, but CC and PP would govern together with Vox

The Center for Sociological Research (CIS) states that the electoral results of June 2023 would be repeated, in a survey conducted before the imprisonment of Santos Cerdán

The Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres.

The Canary population would vote for the PSOE (21.7%) as the main political force in the next elections of the autonomous community. This is reflected in the survey Trends and municipal and regional demands: Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, carried out by the Center for Sociological Research (CIS) in March, before the arrest and provisional imprisonment of the former number three of the Socialist Party at the national level, Santos Cerdán.

Canarian Coalition (15.9%) would repeat as the second political force in the archipelago if these responses were transferred to the polls in the next elections, scheduled for 2027. Meanwhile, the Popular Party (12.7%) would maintain the third position and Vox (10%) would become the fourth political force.

Meanwhile, the lack of unity of the left-wing forces would once again be a setback. With votes split between Podemos (1.4%), Drago (1%), Unidas Podemos (0.7%) and Sumar (0.3%) they would remain in more distant positions. In addition, the crisis within Nueva Canarias (0.6%) in Gran Canaria would make it continue to fall in voting intention.

As a novelty, the survey includes the entry of Se Acabó la Fiesta, the party of Alvise Pérez, also framed in the far right.

Unlike at the regional level, the respondents have responded that they would vote for the Popular Party (22.9%) as the first political force for the Spanish Parliament, followed by the PSOE (22.5%) and Vox (13) as the third force. To a lesser extent, Sumar (4.2%), Canarian Coalition (3.3%) and Podemos (2.6%). In addition, Se Acabó la Fiesta (0.9%) also appears at this point.
