The PSOE of Lanzarote has reproached the president of the Cabildo, Pedro San Ginés, "the absence of dialogue with the Works Council of the Insular Hospital in the integration process in the Canarian Health Service."
The organization secretary of the PSOE of Lanzarote and spokesperson for the Socialist Group in the Cabildo, José Juan Cruz, has declared that "the integration of the health center is very advanced, to the point that the Ministry has sent the agreement to the Cabildo for its signature since the end of last December", although he points out that so far the Cabildo has not proceeded to sign it "without any explanation."
According to the socialist spokesperson, "the integration process has not continued to advance, waiting for the Cabildo to obtain the conformity of the representation of the personnel of the health facility."
"Thanks to the pressure exerted from the Parliament of the Canary Islands, which has unanimously supported the integration request, we have managed to get the Government of the Canary Islands, after years of excuses and refusals, to put an agreement on the table to take charge of the Insular Hospital. We cannot allow Pedro San Ginés' demonstrated inability to dialogue to hinder the agreement now," he warned.
