The Popular Party of Tinajo wants to publicly denounce the absolute lack of foresight and planning on the part of the government group of the City Council in relation to the cleaning and waste management during the La Santa festivities, a celebration that every year attracts hundreds of people, especially during the popular festivals.
Despite the high volume of attendees and the massive nature of these events, not a single additional container or sufficient bins have been installed, which has led to a regrettable image of the environment and the accumulation of garbage in different parts of the town.
From the Popular Party we consider it inadmissible that, knowing the magnitude of these parties, no extraordinary cleaning measures have been adopted, nor has the staff assigned to these services been reinforced. This deficiency demonstrates a worrying lack of planning and sensitivity towards the image of the municipality and the well-being of its residents and visitors.
To this is added the response of the City Council itself, which instead of assuming responsibilities or correcting the situation, has chosen to publish on social networks the congratulations to two councilors who, given the lack of personnel, have limited themselves to sweeping some steps. This gesture, far from solving the problem, is improvised, not very serious and profoundly insufficient in the face of a situation that requires structural solutions, not propaganda.
From the Popular Party we reiterate that municipal management cannot depend on symbolic actions or opportunistic photos, but on real planning that guarantees adequate public services and correct attention to events that, like the La Santa festivities, are an essential part of our identity as a people.
