The councilors of the Popular Party of Yaiza, Juan Monzón and Guayo Rodríguez, have once again denounced the telephone coverage problems that once again affect the town of Uga, where residents have been suffering the effects of a new blackout since last Thursday.
The municipal spokesperson, Juan Monzón, highlights "the inconvenience and discomfort that these cuts are causing to the residents and the daily life of shops and restaurants", who "are facing enormous problems when using card payment terminals for charging, and on top of that coinciding with the December bank holiday when there is more movement and a greater number of customers".
From the ranks of the PP they regret that the government presided over by Óscar Noda "continues without remedying this situation that is repeated too often. It should be remembered that last September there was a similar episode that lasted for a week".
Already then, the PP councilors asked Noda to intercede for the residents of Uga and demand that the telecommunications companies immediately restore the service in the town, as the problem lies in the differences that exist between them regarding the antenna located in the area of the Uga warehouse.
"The truth is that more than two months have passed and it seems that the Mayor has not had time to sit down to resolve this problem because he is more worried and occupied with the internal battles of his political formation than with the needs of the municipality and the residents", they conclude from the PP.
