The PP has denounced that the Agustín de la Hoz House of Culture, which is going to be inaugurated this Thursday after being closed for more than 12 years, "does not have all the legal procedures for its opening." Thus, the popular ones ask the mayor "to comply with the law and not inaugurate today a public space that does not have all the legal endorsements," warning her that, if she does, they will demand "responsibilities" from her and the Councilor for Culture "for not complying with the law."
From the PP they affirm that "they are astonished to see how the government group composed of PSOE-CC-PIL is going to inaugurate facilities without an opening license." "We do not understand how the opening of the Agustín de la Hoz House will be carried out without having a mandatory document for its opening such as the license," says the spokesperson for the popular group in the Arrecife City Council, Jacobo Medina.
"We already lived through past times where they inaugurated public spaces that the next day had to close their doors because they did not have a license. It seems that PSOE CC and PIL are still immersed in the same ways of doing politics, harming citizens day by day. Where it has been closed for more than 12 years, it could have been closed until complying with the necessary documents for its operation, but it seems that a photo weighs more than the safety of those who attend today or the next few days to the House of Culture," says the PP councilor.
