Last Sunday the PP demanded that the current mayor of the municipality of Tías, José Juan Cruz Saavedra, allocate a team to ensure that the El Varadero square, in La Tiñosa, "regains its appearance of cleanliness and order." However, the Government group of the Tías City Council has not allocated a reinforcement to condition and clean this enclave, which is necessary to host different celebrations such as St. Patrick's Day, which took place throughout the day.
The Popular Party of Tías asks that "the City Council ensure the cleanliness of this central site of Puerto del Carmen." For this and all the events that are based in the municipality of Tías that are under the Municipal management of the PP, a team was always allocated for cleaning. After the festivity, generation of waste and its completion last night, action should have been taken so that from the first hour of the morning the place showed a better appearance and care.
Despite the circumstances, the party supports the celebration of these dynamizing events and remarks that Cruz Saavedra (who is running for re-election), and his Councilor for Cleaning, should be more diligent and managers. Two aspects in which they repeatedly fail despite having many years of experience in public service at the expense of the municipal coffers of Tías.
