The Popular Party of Arrecife has expressed its regret because "after the facilities of the Puerto del Arrecife Sports Park were put into operation last June, the departments of sports, traffic and citizen security have not noticed the deficiencies of said complex, especially the lack of lighting".
"Many residents, athletes and users have reported to us that they have been victims of theft from their vehicles, which they have left parked while doing some sports activity or witnessing an event. This, logically, causing significant damage and losses to their vehicles," they declare from the Popular Party.
Therefore, for the Popular Party, it is necessary to install lighting in said parking lot, which could well be done by installing spotlights on the lighting towers of the soccer field. In this way, the measure would not involve much investment for the City Council.
For the Popular Party of Arrecife, it is of general interest to provide lighting to the parking area of the Puerto del Arrecife Sports Park, as many people are being affected and by having lighting in the place, users of the sports facilities, as well as the spectators of the events that are held there, can leave their vehicles parked with more peace of mind.
