The Playa Honda sports court attached to the Civic Center has reopened its doors, after the remodeling works carried out by the Council. The works consisted of the arrangement of the court and the access to the Civic Center and were executed by the company Alquifer with a budget of 97,049 euros, financed through the Island Plan of Works in the municipality 2014 of the Island Council.
"We continue to bet on giving Playa Honda its own identity. The neighborhood of Playa Honda has from these days with this facility that has again opened its doors to the public for their use and enjoyment, thus complying with the neighbors and the sport of the town", said the mayor, María Dolores Corujo.
The Councilor for Sports, Raúl de León, reports that this court can now be used again and will remain open to the public from Monday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
