The councilors of the opposition parties of the San

Bartolomé City Council (PNL, PIL, CC and PP) denounce the "inability" of the Government group to launch the management of the public service of the municipal children's school of Playa Honda, after two years of being finished.

After having requested an extraordinary plenary session in January to

speed up the commissioning of said nursery, the opposition councilors point out, "where the Government group voted against said commissioning claiming that they were already doing it, we verified that four months have passed and the service has not yet been awarded".

According to reports, on February 20, 2010, the deadline for submitting offers for the management of the public service of the municipal children's school of Playa Honda concluded, after two consecutive extensions, with five companies submitting bids. Thus, they add, it was seen for the Procurement Table, which agreed to raise to the Local Government Board the declaration of the open contracting procedure as deserted, thus finally declaring it on March 15 and convening a negotiated procedure without prior publicity to the five companies that submitted.

Given this situation, the opposition councilors request, by means of a letter dated April 14, 2010, information on the current situation of said file and a copy thereof.
