Starting this Monday, November 28, Miguel Ángel Daswani, head of news at Televisión Canaria, will be in charge of directing and presenting the first edition of Telenoticias together with Isabel Baeza, which will be broadcast from 2:30 p.m. every day of the week.

Telenoticias 2, on the other hand, will begin at 8:30 p.m. during the week, which will surely result in greater convenience for viewers. Víctor Padrón and Pilar Rumeu are the presenters of a news program that, over forty minutes, reviews, in a more relaxed way, the issues that the day has left in the Canary Islands and outside the Islands, with all the informative keys of the day.

Likewise, the new island news programs will be broadcast from Monday to Friday at the end of Telenoticias 1, at 3:05 p.m., and not before the start of the same as it did until now. A huge technical and human effort is what has allowed the channel to broadcast, from Monday to Friday, a daily news program of twelve minutes in duration with the local news of each territory, which is a milestone in the television of the Islands.

As for the weekend, Francisco Luis Quintana in general information and José Luis Perdomo in sports remain in charge of Telenoticias Weekend, which is offered at 2:30 p.m. in its first edition and at 8:00 p.m. in the night edition.

With the presence of Miguel Ángel Daswani and Isabel Baeza at the head of Telenoticias 1 and the adaptation of the news programs to a more pleasant schedule for viewers, the channel culminates an important phase of renovation and begins a new stage in which it is committed to quality information that is accessible and complete, with the commitment to be live at the points where the news is generated and to offer the serious and rigorous information demanded by the inhabitants of the Archipelago.
