The Neighborhood Party for Progress has denounced the "danger" posed by the vicinity of the Casa del Mayor Guerra, in San Bartolomé, to residents and visitors due to a "considerable hole in the ground", as well as a "pond or pool more than two meters deep" that can be easily accessed. The party has criticized the "political apathy of the municipal government" in the face of the "rapid" deterioration of this historical and cultural heritage.
The hole and puddle denounced by the Neighborhood Party in its writing are located next to one of the main facades of this building. It has also warned of the risk to children if they play in this area. "We don't even want to imagine what could happen if a child were to fall into this sinkhole," the party warned in a statement.
Therefore, the Neighborhood Party has urgently requested the San Bartolomé City Council to put in place "security measures" to prevent any incident and "avoid possible regrets."
