The Regularization Now Movement has held a meeting with the Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, Elma Saiz, the Secretary of State for Migration, Pilar Cancela, and the director of the minister's cabinet, Aitor Juara, to advance in the process of extraordinary regularization of migrant people in the Spanish State.
During the meeting, the Ministry has recognized the work and struggle of the Regularization Now Movement to promote this process. The minister has reaffirmed the commitment that regularization will be carried out with all guarantees, through a simplified procedure and with agile deadlines, with the aim of especially reaching the most vulnerable people.
Likewise, it has been conveyed that admissions for processing could be resolved in approximately 15 business days. Both parties agreed on the need to maintain coordination between the Ministry and the Regularization Now Movement to ensure that information reaches the migrant population correctly and avoid the spread of hoaxes or disinformation.
From the Regularization Now Movement, they have reiterated their commitment to continue contributing constructively so that the regularization process reaches those who need it most.
