The president of the Cabildo, Manuela Armas, signed two collaboration agreements with the Ministry of Housing in Madrid this Monday for the celebration of the II Conference on Territorial and Environmental Legality organized by the first Corporation of Lanzarote, as reported by the Cabildo in a statement.
The first of the documents, signed by Armas and the Undersecretary of Housing, Marcos Vaquer Caballería, ratifies the economic participation of this ministry in the conference with an allocation of 18,000 euros. Likewise, the ministerial entity will disseminate the celebration of this meeting within the framework of the European Urban Knowledge Network (EUKN).
Armas has also signed a second agreement, this time with the Interprofessional Association of Territorial Planning, FUNDICOT, chaired by the former Director General of Biodiversity of the Ministry of the Environment, Antonio Serrano.

According to this agreement, Fundicot will participate in person in the II Conference, will carry out a specialized dissemination of the call and the conclusions, and will be in charge of intermediating with specialized and national media. In this way, the information will reach a wide directory of entities and people related to urban planning, territorial planning and the environment throughout the Spanish State.
Armas has expressed her satisfaction with the signing of both agreements, "which demonstrates the support of the state administration and a foundation specialized in urban legality for the defense of the territory led by the Cabildo", according to a statement from the institution.
According to the Cabildo, the II Conference on Territorial and Environmental Legality, which will be held on March 26 and 27, "is structured around the defense of the general interest in urban and territorial management".
