The Local Police of Tías has received a radar vehicle from the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT), equipped with a radar speed meter and a breathalyzer, to participate in the campaigns of this autonomous body attached to the Ministry of the Interior when carrying out speed and alcohol controls in the municipality.
The Tías City Council and the Local Police appreciate the new equipment provided by the DGT in order to ensure the safety of road users and compliance with the rules governing traffic. The use of this radar will be carried out in the municipality in accordance with the specific campaigns of the DGT.
The municipal authorities explain that this service is a complement to the dissemination actions and periodic recommendations that are carried out both by the DGT and by the Local Police of Tías, which also offers information from its Facebook @PoliciaLocalTías
