The Tías City Council reinforces collaboration between the Local Police and the Civil Guard through an agreement with the Secretary of State for Security signed on February 11 and published today in the Official State Gazette. This agreement will be ratified at the next Local Security Board, where a monitoring commission will be created.

The objective of the agreement is to "establish and execute various measures aimed at strengthening cooperation and coordination between the Civil Guard and the Local Police of the City Council in matters of citizen security, within the scope of the corresponding municipality and in accordance with their respective powers."

The mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, states that "greater coordination between the security forces allows us to offer a faster and more effective response to the needs of our residents. With this signing, we are taking another step to guarantee a safer and more protected municipality for all."

Antonio Jesús Rodríguez Hernández, chief officer of the Tías Local Police, emphasizes that "cooperation between the different security forces is essential to optimize resources and improve prevention and response to any incident. This agreement reinforces our operational capacity and allows for greater closeness with the citizens."
