The Security and Emergency Consortium of the Cabildo of Lanzarote has organized the 'Self-protection in Parade' conference with the aim of training in prevention in terms of security to the participants and members of the devices in the parades of floats during the next 'Carnivals 2024'.

The counselor and president of the Consortium, Francisco Javier Aparicio, believes that "it is essential that the professionals in charge of the security of these carnivals know how to act in any situation." In addition, he adds that, among the contents that will be taught are "how to act in first aid, use of fire extinguishers or fire equipment, among others."

The conferences will be divided into two face-to-face sessions that will take place in the Multipurpose Hall of the Security and Emergency Consortium of Lanzarote. The first will take place next Friday, February 9, at 3:30 p.m., and will last approximately three hours. On the other hand, the second meeting will be held on Saturday, February 10, at 8:00 in the morning and will last the same as the first.
