The Haría City Council has asked the president of the Water Consortium, Oswaldo Betancort, for an urgent and extraordinary meeting to address the problems in the supply cuts.
The consistory thus tries to find immediate solutions to the prolonged supply cuts that have been occurring in the municipality in recent weeks.
The Government group of Haría explains that several payments from the municipality have been without supply for up to four days and emphasizes that there have been intermittent cuts in a large part of the payments of Haría.
In addition, it emphasizes the significant damages that these problems are causing to citizens, especially during the summer and taking into account that the deposits of the houses are insufficient, as well as the damages in the tourism sector and the northern primary sector, which cannot provide its services and carry out its activity in an adequate manner.
The Haría City Council, as a member of the Water Consortium, reserves the right to carry out the necessary measures, including legal ones, in case the current problems are not solved, since it considers that the residents cannot be affected by institutional inaction.
