The Passarelles duo offers a classical music concert in the Cueva de los Verdes

The duo "Passarelles" composed of violinist Iya Zhmaeva and pianist Javier Díaz González will offer a concert within the "Musicae Candelaria" cycle next Saturday, March 8, at 9:00 p.m. at the Cueva de los Verdes Auditorium.

The duet will perform the work "Three Pieces" by Fritz Kreisler, the "Sonata number 9 Kreutzer in A Major opus 47" by Ludwig van Beethoven and finally the "Sonata number 3 in C minor opus 45" by Edvard Grieg.

The pianist Javier Díaz works at the Conservatory and Island School of Music of Lanzarote as a repetiteur, piano, harmony and transport teacher. He is also a founding member of "Musicae Candelaria", where he has performed both as a soloist and with the Mussorgsky Quartet of Moscow, as well as with different members of the "Ensemble Musicae Candelaria" to which he belongs. For her part, the Russian violinist Iya Zhmaeva, is licensed as an orchestra violinist and violin teacher. She has participated with more than five important orchestras in the musical scene and won awards such as the Violin Virtuosos City of Volgograd (1982) and the Violin Prize City of Volgograd (1992). Currently, she resides in Lanzarote and performs with a chamber trio (piano, clarinet and violin).

The price of the ticket for this concert is 18 euros, 15 for residents who accredit it and 9 euros for members of the El Triángulo de Cuatro Lados Cultural Association. Tickets can be purchased at El Almacén, Kopy Center, Lunas Records, Cueva de los Verdes, Casa Santiago in Teguise, and at the Tourist Offices of Puerto del Carmen, Costa Teguise and Playa Blanca.
