The City Council, presided over by Óscar Noda, is carrying out improvement works on the Yaiza Mill, consisting of repairing the stone walls that surround it, completely painting its exterior and interior, including doors and windows, and cleaning the building "in order to finish preparing it to give it the utility of a viewpoint", as reported by the City Council.
"The Mill offers spectacular views of Timanfaya, the town of Yaiza and also Uga from its roof, which will surely be difficult to resist for our neighbors and tourists, so we must take advantage of that vein", said the mayor of Yaiza, who visited the works on the morning of this Wednesday.
For this first phase of the project, the City Council has allocated 8,000 euros invested in the maintenance and recovery of its three floors and the roof. The mill is located on one side of the large roundabout that connects the towns of Yaiza and Uga.
