The San Bartolomé City Council has completed the repainting of elements and street furniture on Avenida de Playa Honda, works that are added to those already carried out for painting and maintaining the walls or cleaning the beaches, as indicated by the Councilor for Public Services, Alexis Tejera.

Avenida de Playa Honda is the main gateway for tourists who arrive on foot or doing sports from Arrecife or Puerto del Carmen and is very busy by the neighborhood, not only from Playa Honda but from the municipality, and therefore it is necessary to constantly carry out maintenance and improvement work," they point out from the Consistory.

Specifically, a total of 11 pergolas, 39 lampposts and 15 benches have been repainted, works that have had a budget of 24,616.30 euros and have been carried out by the company Pinturas y Señalizaciones Óscar. The works have consisted of sanding, rust removal, cleaning of the elements to be treated, repainting of benches, pergolas and lampposts with white enamel. "One of our concerns is the maintenance of public spaces, so it is one more of the actions that are carried out to improve and beautify the different towns in the municipality," concluded Tejera.
