The asphalting works on Mástil Street in Playa Honda are being finalized, according to the City Council, which recalls that the action is included in the project to improve the drainage network of the town, necessary for the evacuation of rainwater.
According to the City Council, 10 branches of pipelines for rainwater are being executed within the same, works that are being executed in phases "to disturb the population as little as possible." Likewise, the roundabout located at the intersection with the Carretera de Las Playas will also be asphalted at the request of the City Council.
The set of works, which is being executed by the company V.V.O., has an award budget of 764,876.63 euros, paid for by the Vice-Ministry of Fisheries and Water of the Government of the Canary Islands.
The mayor of San Bartolomé, Alexis Tejera, hopes that "this work will continue at a good pace" and will be completed "as soon as possible", since he points out that "it is a historical demand, being aware that in the issue of rainwater there is still much work to be done."
