The Board of Directors of the Centers for Art, Culture and Tourism held this Thursday gave the green light to the launch of the Unusual Cactus Garden Experience, a guided tour in small groups that takes visitors to learn in depth about aspects related to the natural and ethnographic values of the center, as well as details of the intervention carried out by César Manrique.
The tour concludes with a tasting of some of the specialties created from prickly pear and prickly pear by Lanzarote chef Orlando Ortega. "We want our visitors to enjoy an unforgettable experience in this magical environment and the center's new and surprising gastronomic proposal," said the CEO of the Centers, Benjamín Perdomo.
The councilors also approved the rates for the voucher created for the Unusual Cactus Garden, Fire Mountains and Jameos del Agua Experiences, which will be complemented imminently with the launch of the Unusual Cueva de los Verdes.
During the session, in addition, the annual accounts corresponding to the year 2019 were formulated, which showed a positive balance of 1,579,258.81 euros, and a business volume of 29,273,510 euros, with the relevant draft audit report.
In addition, the collaboration protocol between the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the Centers for Art, Culture and Tourism was approved, which defines a regulatory framework that facilitates the entity's workers to take part in management assignments, assignments and agreements of the first island institution.
