San Bartolomé is preparing to celebrate its patron saint festivities and the highlight of this year will be the concert by the Canarian group Efecto Pasillo, which will perform in the Plaza Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente on the 23rd.

The mayor, Isidro Pérez, and the Councilor for Festivities, Estefanía Luzardo, made public this Wednesday the program of events, with a wide variety of events that will extend from August 8 to 24.

As had already been announced by the City Council, the opening speech will be given by San Bartolomé CF. "It is an entity that is now fifty years old and has done so much good work for the youth and the sporting and social values ​​of many people in the municipality over the years," they say from the Consistory.

Isidro Pérez has invited residents and visitors to enjoy these days of leisure and festivities, while also expressing his “gratitude to all the participants, clubs, associations, groups and residents who have made the program possible, as well as the City Council staff who work to ensure that everything goes perfectly, making our San Bartolomé festivities a success."

Councilor Estefania Luzardo also joined in thanking all those who have put their work into preparing the program, inviting the entire population to “come to a festival that once again brings together events for all audiences, from the youngest to the oldest.” “We want all families to be able to participate in the festivities, so a series of children's activities adapted to all types of functional diversity situations have been prepared,” added the mayor.

In addition to the children's events, there will be a large number of sporting events, workshops, theatrical works, musical events and exhibitions to enjoy as a family the 2022 edition of the Patron Saint Festivities, which will culminate on the night of August 23 with the Efecto Pasillo concert and the traditional fireworks display.
