The Cabildo receives the adaptation of the El Pavón Amphitheater Square and the renovation of the changing rooms of the Sports Center in Tías

Works framed within the Municipal Cooperation Plans and amounting to more than 350,000 euros

The Cabildo of Lanzarote has received this Tuesday the works of adaptation of the El Pavón Amphitheater Square, in Tías. The improvements are framed within the Municipal Cooperation Plans promoted by the Cabildo, for an amount of 123,196.54 euros.

This Tuesday also took place the signing of the delivery certificate of the project to modify the changing rooms in the Tías Sports Center, for an amount of 234,863.43 euros. The changing rooms have two adapted toilets and a nursing room. In addition, they have new plumbing, sanitation and electricity installations.

“Thanks to these improvements, the residents of the municipality will be able to enjoy a new recreation area that has a children's park for families, and that is equipped with play elements and impact-absorbing pavement”, explains the president of the Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo.

In addition to these two works, the president stressed that the completion of several projects has been fulfilled, such as the adaptation of the socio-cultural center of Mácher, the renovation of the Funeral Home and the works on Princesa Ico street. “These actions are essential for the citizens, actions that we promised and that we have fulfilled, and so we will continue with the rest of the works in the municipality”, says María Dolores Corujo.

 

Cooperation Plans 2022: “We will continue to meet our objectives”


On the other hand, the president of the Cabildo recalled that the 2022 Cooperation Plan includes the adaptation and installation works of the socio-cultural centers of Conil and Masdache, as well as the conditioning of the Los Fajardo road and Los Lirios street. These four projects have an investment of more than 1.2 million euros.

“Tías is advancing diligently in the execution of a multitude of actions and, from the Cabildo, we want to monitor them to ensure that they advance properly and show our support so that the final result arrives in a timely manner, which is what the citizens expect”, stressed María Dolores Corujo.

Likewise, the mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, thanked the Cabildo for its commitment to the municipality and pointed out that “the aim is for the infrastructures to improve so that citizens can enjoy a modern and dynamic environment for day to day. In just three years and with a pandemic in between, we have executed all the works that we have proposed. We deliver on what we promise”.
