The Cabildo promotes Lanzarote's products at the Feaga Agricultural Fair

Lanzarote had a stand with four zones, with activities related to tastings, pairings and presentations of products from the island

The Cabildo of Lanzarote promoted the different products of the island at the Agricultural, Livestock and Fisheries Fair (Feaga) held in Fuerteventura, through a stand sponsored by Saborea Lanzarote.

Specifically, Lanzarote had a stand with four zones, which included tasting activities, pairings and presentations, local products that were present, the institutional stand and a space set up for interviews and photocall, where at the end of the session a raffle was held for the participants of island products.

For his part, the Councilor for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Andrés Stinga, highlighted "the great reception and participation by the citizens in the 34th edition of a Fair that supports and helps the economy of the primary sector of both islands, with the aim of promoting the consumption of our local products."

In addition, he adds that "this event values the involvement of the different activities, with the aim of promoting and publicizing first-hand the tasting, pairing and presentation activities that have been developed these four days and that show an enviable island prestige in its products."

During the fair, two product presentations were made, one developed by the company 'Natural', by Daniel Lasso, presenting a new packaging format for lentils, and the company 'Agro.0', by Araceli González, with the Lanzarote Banana.

Also, various wine tastings and pairings were held by the winemaker Tomás Mesa, as well as cheese pairings with Luz Nélida, owner of the Quesería Flor de Luz.

Finally, the tastings of gofio from 'Los del Gofio Arráez' by Juan Gil and products such as chocolates filled with smoked cheese from the lighthouse with salt from Janubio from "La Bombonería de la Corona" stood out.
