The Cabildo of Lanzarote has presented the diplomas of the Training Plan for Employment 2024 to the students who passed the courses, a total of 146 people who have participated in eleven training actions.
The Minister of Education, Ascensión Toledo, expressed her satisfaction when presenting the diplomas to the people who have completed the courses. "These training programs, which include courses in hygiene and home health care, as well as the B1 level English course, are a sign of our commitment to the continuous improvement of training opportunities for our population," she declared.
In addition, the Minister stressed "the need to continue supporting inclusive educational policies that allow students to access quality education." "Education is a right and a powerful tool for people," she concluded.
The diplomas awarded this Friday correspond to two completed courses. The first is the B1 English course, taught by the Think language academy, located in Arrecife. The second training is in hygiene and home health care.
Likewise, this Training Plan, financed with FDCAN Funds and aimed, fundamentally, at unemployed people from Lanzarote and La Graciosa who are actively seeking employment, also offers disciplines such as drone pilot of different levels and modalities, and for construction, plumbing and electricity personnel.
"Training is a key element when it comes to finding a job, which is why we are committed to promoting professional qualification since it considerably improves the possibilities of accessing the labor market and even the economic conditions," Toledo concluded.
