The Cabildo of Lanzarote has carried out works to condition the access to the Clean Point of San Bartolomé, located in Playa Honda.
The Councilor for Waste of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Hugo Delgado, explained that the need for this project has been identified “from the wear that has been occurring in the asphalt with the passage of vehicles, causing significant loss of materials, resulting in potholes and potholes that have worsened the condition of the road.”
“The actions aim to improve and correct the structural damage to the road to enable more comfortable and safe circulation for users of this space,” explained the councilor.
Likewise, the councilor thanked the San Bartolomé City Council for its collaboration “to make these works possible.” “It will benefit the citizens of the municipality and the rest of the Island who want to use this Clean Point,” he adds.
For his part, the mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, also thanked “the great collaboration between both Institutions”, achieving through joint work “the improvement of the municipality's infrastructure and an effective contribution to the care of the environment”, promoting accessibility to the points enabled to deposit waste.
