The Cabildo of Lanzarote has launched a "tender for the works to improve energy efficiency and renovate public lighting in Conil, in Tías".
The objective of the actions is to "provide the town with new luminaires, with modern technology that allows energy saving and less light pollution, while increasing the safety of vehicles and inhabitants", they announce.
María Dolores Corujo, explains that "a series of actions are proposed in order to establish measures aimed at achieving maximum energy efficiency in public lighting" as well as "reducing the problem of light pollution that occurs in several points of the Island", they confirm.
"It has a budget of 1.4 million euros"
The Minister of Energy, Ariagona González, details that "the project has a budget of about 1.4 million euros, financed by FDCAN funds", they make clear and that the actions will be "carried out in about 36 weeks from the beginning of these", they declare.
Companies interested in submitting their applications may do so until next May 8 through the State Procurement Platform, they say.
