The Cabildo lights up with the Movember movement

The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through the Department of Social Welfare managed by Isabel Martín, has joined the international movement 'Movember' this year to raise awareness in society about men's health.

To this end, during the night of Saturday to the early hours of Sunday 22, the main facade of the Institution remained illuminated with the symbol of this movement, a mustache. This initiative arose in 2003 in Australia and has spread to other countries around the planet, with different initiatives promoted through the international charity 'Movember Foundation', with representation also in Spain.

Councilor Isabel Martín has congratulated "all the people who join this initiative to promote men's health, give visibility to these diseases and support the prevention and research of prostate cancer".
