The Cabildo of Lanzarote has made public the definitive list of artisans who have benefited from the subsidy program for the promotion of this activity in the islands of Lanzarote and La Graciosa. Likewise, the institution has also awarded the subsidies for the implementation of renewable energies
Regarding the aid for the promotion of island crafts, endowed with a partida of 50,000 euros from the first island institution, they will be allocated to people who develop a creative work. "These aids will be used so that the artisans of the island can continue to develop their work," explains the Councilor for Commerce of the Cabildo, Carmen Guadalupe.
The beneficiaries of these aids have a period of three months for the execution of their projects.
Subsidies for the implementation of renewable energies
On the other hand, in the last Governing Council, the definitive list of beneficiaries of the subsidies for solar thermal energy installations for the production of sanitary hot water was approved, as well as the provisional list of aid for the production of wind and photovoltaic energy.
With an economic file from the Subsidies program for the Mitigation of Climate Change and Energy Transition of the islands of Lanzarote and La Graciosa of the Government of the Canary Islands in both cases, these subsidies "respond to the commitment of this Government with green energy, cleaner, cheaper and more responsible with the planet than that from fossil fuels", said the Minister of Industry of the first island institution, Ariagona González.
In this sense, González recalls that "the natural characteristics, the landscape and the climate of Lanzarote are the unbeatable values to continue reinforcing our commitment to an energy model based on renewable energies, more durable and respectful with the environment".
The beneficiaries of the subsidies for solar thermal energy installations for the production of sanitary hot water have a period of four months to carry out the installation and, upon completion, one month for the justification of the project. For their part, the beneficiaries of the aid program for the production of wind and photovoltaic energy have a period of ten business days to accept the subsidy or present allegations.
This call for subsidies is included in the "Aid program for the promotion of the penetration of renewable energies. Cabildo de Lanzarote", granted by the General Directorate of Energy of the Government of the Canary Islands in accordance with the Order of July 30, 2020, of the Ministry of Ecological Transition, Fight against Climate Change and Territorial Planning. The list will be available on the Cabildo website.
