The Arrecife City Council has resumed face-to-face service to residents since this Tuesday, after Lanzarote entered phase 2 of the de-escalation. However, as established by the protocol dictated by the Ministry of Health, people who have to carry out procedures must request an appointment before going to the Council.
The mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez, highlights that the City Council "has reinforced protocols to enter the 'new normal', where risk prevention has been prioritized both for the staff of public workers and for citizens who come to municipal offices."
In recent days, the interior signage, route points, waiting areas and distances have been finalized; and preventive screens have also been placed on the work tables of public workers and at information points.
The number of appointments given each day will be "those that can serve to ensure the precise social distance in each area." In addition, the City Council emphasizes that citizens "must go to the premises moments before the indicated time, to avoid crowds." "The mask will be mandatory and there are hydroalcoholic gel dispensers in several points of the hall and inside the Consistorial House building," they add.
Different phones to request an appointment depending on the procedure
In addition to the Municipal Offices and the Local Police building, the City Council also offers face-to-face service at the Social Services facilities, in its central building next to the Youth Center, on Vía Medular.
Regarding the numbers to call to request an appointment, they depend on the procedure to be carried out. For certificate, statistics or registration procedures, the appointment telephone number is 928812758. Other municipal services, on the telephone 9288127 50; and for Social Services matters, the City Council has activated a free call telephone number for several weeks, 900 214301, which remains the same for managing appointments in Social Services.
As for the Local Police of Arrecife, they will start citizen service from this Wednesday in the Accident Reports Office and in the Administrative Unit for any type of complaint or consultation. All people will have a period of 30 minutes between 9:00 and 11:30 a.m. In this case, the contact telephone number is 928811317 and the email to request an appointment is policialocal@arrecife.es.
