The Governing Board of the Arrecife City Council, meeting this Friday morning in the plenary hall of the capital corporation, agreed to partially grant the certificate of occupancy to the 162 homes of the Siglo XXI building, located on Avenida Fred Olsen, in front of El Reducto beach. Thus, and after the signing of the decree by the Councilor for Urban Planning of the capital Consistory, Pedro de Armas, these homes may be occupied by their owners.
This concludes a long and problem-filled process that has forced the builders to make numerous modifications. It should be remembered that the building on Avenida Fred Olsen began to be built about
approximately six years ago, although many apartments were sold even before, on plan.
The works should have been completed two and a half years ago, but various problems forced their execution to be delayed.
