The Arrecife City Council Press Office joined the Day of the Holy Innocents this Saturday and released a press release at six in the afternoon reporting on the remodeling of the areas of the municipal government group, formed by PP and CC. "This organizational adjustment seeks to optimize the management of municipal resources and strengthen coordination between key areas to better meet the needs of citizens," they said.
It also stated that the mayor of Arrecife, Yonathan de León, signed this Saturday, December 28, the decree of redistribution of powers in the municipal government team. From the Press Office of the Arrecife City Council it has been confirmed that it was "a joke" and it is added that its manager did not intervene in the decision to send the aforementioned statement.
Among the most relevant changes, the note continued, the deputy mayor, Echedey Eugenio, will assume the powers of Urban Planning, Technical Office and Urban Discipline, which until now were delegated to Maciot Cabrera; and Sports, responsibility until now of Elisabeth Merino. For his part, Eugenio leaves the areas of Festivities and Carnival Board, which are now under the direction of Maciot Cabrera; and Finance and Contracting, which pass into the hands of Rosmen Quevedo.
