The Arrecife City Council calls for "civic responsibility" from residents after a lamppost was broken in the San Francisco Javier neighborhood

The Councilor for Works of the Arrecife City Council, Gabriel González, has asked the population to maintain the good condition of street furniture, after one of the lampposts in the San Francisco Javier neighborhood was "destroyed" after the impact with a car that, according to reports from the City Council, passed through the area "at high speed".

González has lamented "the lack of civic-mindedness of some unscrupulous people who dedicate themselves to damaging the city's street furniture" and recalled that the street furniture "is paid for by all of us and that is why we must take care of it for the benefit of all the people of Arrecife".
