The Arrecife City Council has put out to tender the specialized advisory service for the care of women victims of gender violence.
From the City Council they explain that, according to the tender announcement published on May 6 on the Public Sector Contracting Platform, applicants have until May 24 to submit offers for this new service, which they assure from the Consistory that it will "improve the care for victims of gender violence", and that it will have "the advice of two professionals, in Law and Psychology, with demonstrable work experience in this field."
"Arrecife has not only signed the State Pact against Gender Violence, but we have also launched different training and awareness plans for both municipal workers and all citizens. Now we take a further step in supporting women who have experienced a situation of gender violence," says the mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez.
"The main function of this service is to protect the physical and psychological integrity of the victims and initiate their comprehensive recovery process. This is another of the many effective measures that have been put in place in the City Council to help women victims of gender violence," explains the Councilor for Equality, María Jesús Tovar.
The City Council details that the tender budget is 48,150 euros including taxes and has a validity period of one year, extendable for one more. It also indicates that it is financed by the Arrecife City Council and by the funds of the State Pact against Gender Violence.
Finally, from the Consistory they explain that in the evaluation criteria of the proposals, both the availability of a recreational space for the minor children of the victimized women, with professional supervision, as well as the realization of coexistence activities will be taken into account.
