The mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort, celebrated the reception of the work of the new Costa Teguise Civic Center during his visit to the infrastructure that has been built to respond to the need of the citizens of Costa Teguise to have a new social and cultural meeting point.

Located next to the Arenas School and "co-financed by the first island institution for almost 1.2 million euros and with municipal funds, it has been received once the municipal technicians have given the green light to the facilities, which have spaces for various uses, cafeteria, changing rooms, offices, large terraces, children's play area, walks and gardens, in addition to a large room with capacity for 250 people", they point out from the Consistory.

“The Teguise City Council has fulfilled its commitment to expand the network of sociocultural spaces throughout the municipality and provide citizens with new meeting and participation points, in this case, we are concluding a new work in Costa Teguise, completing a series of sports projects, such as the soccer field, or this social center, which will allow the current Civic Center on Fragata Street to be used for youth”, said Betancort.

A few days ago we handed over the key to the Las Caletas Civic Center, another of the exciting projects of this legislature, and we will soon give content to the new center of Costa Teguise, so that young and old can give it life and enjoy it as an ideal space to share”, added Councilor Olivia Duque.
