The Teguise City Council, through its New Technologies and Sanctions departments, in coordination with the Local Police, has reinforced the body's operational capabilities by providing advanced technological equipment and offering specific courses through the Lanzarote Tax Network.
This joint action is part of the municipality's commitment to modernizing public services and improving administrative and security management.
The officers have received practical training in handling the new tablets acquired by the City Council, which will optimize the management of fines and notifications within Lanzarote's tax network. Thanks to these tools, the Local Police will be able to process infractions more efficiently and improve communication with citizens, ensuring an agile and transparent service.
The mayor of Teguise, Olivia Duque, highlighted that "the incorporation of new technologies in our Local Police not only facilitates administrative management, but also reinforces security, improves proximity with residents, and allows us to continue modernizing municipal services to offer a more efficient and accessible administration."
The Local Police councilor, Ginés González, highlighted that "the training received and the incorporation of new digital tools allow officers to make the most of technological resources, adapt to current needs, and improve the management of sanctions and procedures in the tax network, making their daily work more agile, secure, and professional."
With this action, the Teguise City Council continues to advance in the incorporation of new technologies in municipal management, promoting efficiency, transparency, and a closer service to citizens
