Teguise's Commerce Area presents the three main events

The commerce area of the Teguise City Council presented its commercial reactivation plan for the coming months, through dynamizing proposals "that will give greater prominence to the Open Commercial Zone of Costa Teguise and La Villa de Teguise." This will be achieved, according to the Consistory, "with three main events, which will attract the public around leisure, gastronomic and exclusive product sales initiatives."

The Councilor for Commerce of Teguise, Olivia Duque, announced this Tuesday the program that the area has designed "to boost and promote the commercial areas of the municipality." It will be done in collaboration with the manager of Felapyme, Daniel González, and the coordinator of the campaigns and the Commerce area of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Oswaldo Machín.

The Teguise City Council adds that the most immediate dynamizing proposal is "Happy Halloween Costa Teguise", which they announce will be held next Sunday, October 31, in the Pueblo Marinero of Costa Teguise from 5:00 p.m. The Consistory points out that the entrances to Pueblo Marinero and Calle Las Olas "will be decorated with very striking elements to set the costume contest", which will have prizes of "100, 50 and 25 euros to the best, in addition to offering children's workshops and musical entertainment in an afternoon full of surprises."

On the other hand, the City Council announces that the "Enyesque Route" is back, from November 18 to 21 throughout the municipality of Teguise. It will feature "original tapas for a price of 3.50 euros, including a drink." In this second edition, they add that the council "takes a leap to digitization", creating a digital "route", where consumers "can vote for the best tapa of the participating restaurants".

Among all the participants who have voted, the City Council announces that "a trip for two people to La Palma will be raffled". "During the celebration of the enyesque route, activities will be developed to boost traditional commercial areas such as small performances in participating restaurants," explained Olivia Duque, reminding "those catering businesses that want to participate, that they can register in the registration form that they will find on the Teguise website from October 29 to November 8".

In relation to the Christmas Market to end the year, from the town hall they point out that in order to enhance the magic of the Historic Site of Teguise, which has the seal of "One of the most beautiful towns in Spain", "from the December long weekend, local crafts and fashion products will be offered, resuming this market in the Plaza de la Constitución with a very careful setting that recalls the European Christmas markets."

The City Council also adds that from Sunday, December 5 to Wednesday, December 8, "this new edition will take place, which has positioned itself as a benchmark for getting the most original gift of the season, to which fashion and accessories brands will be added." In addition, they point out that during the celebration of this new concept of Fashion Christmas Market, "different children's workshops and musical performances will be developed to liven up Christmas shopping and give it a more festive atmosphere."

Parallel to the campaigns, the Commerce area also announces that it is promoting "an online strategy for the widest possible dissemination of events among the population, promoting the profiles of "Teguise Comercio" on Facebook and Instagram and helping entrepreneurs to create and upload content on their own social networks."

The mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort, has highlighted "the area's effort to create a program adapted to a new normality where the positioning of the Teguise Comercio brand is sought" and has praised "the work that has been coordinated jointly with the associations of merchants of the municipality and the business community in general."
