The municipality of Teguise inaugurated its Housing Office on the 5th. This new service is located in the Social Affairs building, and a worker will be in charge of facilitating all procedures related to housing rental assistance, first home purchase or rehabilitation.
The residents of the town will be able to carry out their procedures from the municipal offices themselves. The worker in charge of the office has been hired through the City Council's Employment Exchange, and has received specialized training to carry out citizen assistance tasks.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the mayor of Teguise, Juan Pedro Hernández, the councilor Marisol Armas and the Minister of Social Welfare and Housing of the Government of the Canary Islands, Inés Rojas.
